Here is an amazing story about a Japanese mathematician who was assaulted in a vicious racist attack in a subway station in central West Berlin.
He went back to the scene of the crime and placed a poster with a job offer to the attacker. The job is intended to teach the assailant humanity and get rid of his hatred. The job description is translations of children’s books.
