ベルリン国立バレエ団にてプロのバレエダンサーとして活躍する菅野茉里奈さんにインタビューしました！

I interviewed Marina Kanno. She is a professional ballet dancer at the Berlin State Ballet!

１、どちらの出身ですか？ベルリンにはどれくらい住んでいますか？

Where are you from? How long have you lived in Berlin?

神奈川県藤沢市です。江ノ島に近いところです。ベルリンには９年住んでいます。プロのダンサーとして、ウィーン国立歌劇場ではたらきはじめて、２年後にウラジミール・マラーホフからベルリンへのオファーを頂いたので、ベルリンにきました。ロシアに１６歳で留学していたので、そこからずっと海外生活です。

I’m from Fujisawa-city, Kanagawa. It’s close to Enosima. I have lived in Berlin for 9 years. I danced as a professional for Vienna State Opera and after 2 years I came to Berlin because Vladimir Malakhov invited me to the Berlin State Ballet. I have lived abroad since I went to Russia when I was 16 years old.

２、好きなバレエの演目はなんですか？（見る側と踊る側の両方から）

Which performance is your favourite to dance and watch?

踊りたいと思うのは、マノン、ロミオとジュリエット、あとオネーギン、そしてノイマイヤーの椿姫です。全部ドラマティックなバレエです。でも同時に、見るのも好きですね。あと、バランシンの作品も体力的、技術的にチャレンジしたくなるという意味で踊りたい作品です。モダンで言えば、キリアンでしょうか。ドラマティックなものは、見てても感情移入できますし、楽しめますね。

I like to dance Manon, Romeo and Juliet, Onegin and La Dame aux camelias by Neumeier. They all are dramatic ballet. But on the other hand, I also like to watch them. I can say works by Balanchine are the work I wanna dance too because it’s is challenging physically and mentally. When it comes to modern ballet, I wanna say Kylian. Dramatic works empathize me, that’s why I like them.

３、好きなベルリンの食べ物はなんですか？
公演が成功したあとはどのようにお祝いをしますか？

What is your favourite food in Berlin? How do you celebrate after a successful performances?

アジア系の料理ですね。タイ料理、ベトナム料理、韓国料理、インド料理です。大きな役が終わったときは、友人とどこかに食事に行くことはありますが、基本的に公演はたくさんあるので、実はお祝いということはあまりしないです。

I like Asian food, for example Thai, Vietnamese, Korean and Indian food. I sometimes go to dinner with friends after an important role. But actually, I have a lot of performances usually, so I don’t cerebrate so often!

４、ジュエリープロジェクトについて教えてください。

Can you tell me about your jewellery project?

５、６年前に趣味で始めました。楽しいのですが、自分ですべてつけられるわけでもないですし、人につけてもらったほうがうれしいので、最初はカンパニー内でほしいと言われれば、おすそ分けしていました。バレエが忙しく、あまりジュエリー制作や展示に時間がとれないので、趣味としてやっています。もしご希望の方がいらっしゃれば、制作や発送まではやっています。

I started to make jewellery as hobby from 5 or 6 years ago. But I cannot wear all I make. So I sometimes gave coworkers some of my jewellery works. Just I make the jewellery as hobby because I am too busy for the ballet and cannot make time enough. If someone wants, I can make the jewellery and send it by post.

５、ベルリンで好きな場所をおしえてください。

Which places in Berlin do you like best?

マウワーパークのフリーマーケット、カスタニエンアレー、ハケシャマルクトです。カスタニエンアレーは、マウワーパークの近くで、その通りにたくさんカフェやお店があって、とくかく好きなんです。去年まで家が近かったので、よく通っていました。隅から隅まで知っています（笑）。あとは、タイパークです。ネティブのタイの方たちが食べ物を売っているところです。

I like the flea market at Mauerpark, Kastanien Alle and Hackescher Markt. Kastanien Alle is close to Mauerpark. There are a lot of cafe and shops. I lived nearby till last year and I went there often. I know every shops there! And I also like Thai park, where native Thai people sell Thai food.
